Jadeleaf King

The Jadeleaf King is the second strongest of the Otherworldly Demonic Tribe's Ten Great Kings. His Half-Leaving Aperture cultivation and Primordial Spirit make him more dangerous than the Stoneleaf King, a fact Zhang Xuan exploits to set the two against each other. (Chapters 1,049–1,052, 1,012)

Biography

The kings' manufactured duel

Disguised as an Otherworldly Demon, Zhang Xuan feeds the Jadeleaf and Stoneleaf Kings conflicting claims until they fight. Jadeleaf identifies the Lightning Elemental Orb as Stoneleaf's advantage, severs his arm, and dominates after drawing out his Primordial Spirit. Zhang Xuan then uses a poisoned puppet and the exhausted combatants' mutual suspicion to finish the surviving king; Jadeleaf dies, and his altar and other possessions pass into Zhang Xuan's custody. Appearance and personality

Jadeleaf is cold, analytical, and confident in his superior rank. He can identify an enemy's key artifact and adapt quickly, yet his distrust of rivals makes Zhang Xuan's deception effective. (Chapters 1,049–1,053)

Abilities and cultivation

At Half-Leaving Aperture realm, Jadeleaf can manifest a Primordial Spirit and survive bodily destruction by seeking another vessel. He wields enough power to overwhelm Stoneleaf once the latter loses his lightning augmentation, but fails to notice Heaven's Path zhenqi concealed within a puppet. (Chapters 1,052–1,053)
