Lust

Lust is a Peak Fallen serving Pestilence and controlling the southern Grand Continent through cities, Fallen, Demons, and compromised manufacturers. Its ancient, cautious network is broken when Nick turns a relay contact into a trace for Aegis's Right Arm. (Chapters 625 and 748–752)

Biography

Rule through compromised cities

Lust and Sloth maintain adjoining stable territories because both serve Pestilence, letting Lust concentrate on cities in the south and nearby islands. Nick enters the network disguised as an aggressive wild Specter and finds a Greater Relay behind an Elder. Instead of submitting, he kills the intermediary, insults Lust, and threatens every controlled city. Lust answers by invoking three Fallen and more than forty Demons, revealing both the scale of its organization and its preference for remote authority. Nick then investigates local manufacturers, distinguishing frightened cooperation from the few leaders who knowingly sustain the Corruptor's rule. (Chapters 625 and 748)

Hunted by the Right Arm

Nick's provocations are designed to obtain Lust's Zephyx signature rather than win a direct battle. Once the trace is delivered, the contemporary holder of the Right Arm fires a laser into Lust's hidden position. Lust immediately flees and survives the first hit, confirming why it kept wild servants away from the region, but the Right Arm tracks residual Zephyx, uses repeated crescents and beams to update the target's location, and finally engulfs its body in a killing laser. Lust's death frees cities whose laws and economies had been shaped by its influence, while the loss alerts every Corruptor and draws Death toward Aegis in retaliation. (Chapter 752)

Appearance and personality

Lust's relay image is a fat, dirty man with a smirk and long nails, deliberately unlike an idealized seductive figure. It is boastful, insulting, and quick to threaten service or death, yet its hidden location and immediate flight show deep caution behind that bluster. (Chapter 748)

Abilities and Zephyx

As a Peak Fallen, Lust can command multiple Fallen, dozens of Demons, and human institutions across a large territory. Its specific feeding and combat mechanics are not separately explained, so social control should not be mistaken for a demonstrated universal compulsion. Greater Relays support remote projection, while concealment and flight protect the true body. A precise Zephyx trace counters that strategy: the Right Arm can follow residual energy and use repeated long-range attacks until escape fails. (Chapters 748 and 752)
