Biography

Suppression and the Sun’s Ordered Release

The False Hope’s apparent forests function as lethal feeding grounds, but conflict with the Eternal Hunger puts pressure on territory that normally conceals the threat. Aegis deploys Death and War to suppress both Specters, losing two Shields in the operation and demonstrating that containment does not make the False Hope safe. Much later, the Sun orders Nick to release the pair and deploy them against all life outside protected cities. Nick finds no meaningful intelligence to persuade and forces compliance; the False Hope creates ten forests on command, participates in the scheduled extermination, and remains active at the last confirmed report. Appearance and personality
