Wooden Time Swords
The Wooden Time Swords are wooden magical swords carved and refined by Meng Hao to carry the power of Time. Individually and in formations, they erode an opponent's longevity and become one of his most extensively improved weapon systems.
History
Forging the first sword
Meng Hao carves the first crude sword from a Spring and Autumn tree and turns it into a genuine magical treasure. He deploys it against stronger opponents, relying on its unusual Time power rather than its simple appearance. (Chapters 265 and 272)
Cycles of Time
He continues refining the sword in the Black Lands, sealing successive sixty-year cycles of Time into it. He later buries multiple swords in the Demon Immortal Sect's illusory ancient world so that the passage of millennia can accumulate within them; the recovered sword tip carries roughly 30,000 years of Time power. (Chapters 345 and 592–599)
Sword formations and later refinement
Meng Hao uses the surviving sword tip as a mobile weapon and plans larger groups of duplicated swords for the Lotus Sword Formation. The swords continue to appear in battles and undergo further strengthening, including later refinement of their materials and seals. (Chapters 629, 655, 658, 746–755, and 1306)
Abilities and properties
- Each sword can contain accumulated cycles of Time that strip longevity from a target. (Chapters 265, 269, and 345)
- Multiple swords can be arranged into the Lotus Sword Formation for a much larger Time effect. (Chapters 658 and 672)
- Long burial within an accelerated historical projection can give a surviving sword fragment an enormous reserve of Time power. (Chapters 592–599 and 629)
- They can be duplicated and further refined, although doing so requires suitable materials and resources. (Chapters 658 and 739–750)
