Lightning Cauldron

The Lightning Cauldron is an ancient bronze treasure claimed by Meng Hao in a lightning-filled Blessed Land. Its signature Form Displacement Transposition exchanges the positions of two targets, while the cauldron can also wield lightning and crushing weight.

History

Claiming the ancient cauldron

Meng Hao crosses the cauldron's lightning field and touches it himself, allowing a sliver of his soul to enter the treasure and establish their connection. Its guardian then departs for reincarnation, leaving Meng Hao to shrink and carry the outer cauldron while acknowledging that the inner cauldron has a separate, mysterious origin. (Chapter 753)

Form Displacement Transposition

Meng Hao immediately discovers that the cauldron can switch his position with that of his second true self. He turns the technique into a combat method, exchanging places with enemies or bystanders to evade attacks, redirect lethal force, and move unpredictably across battlefields. (Chapters 753, 774–779)

Battles across the Mountains and Seas

The cauldron remains part of Meng Hao's arsenal in later conflicts, including the Windswept Realm and the Mountain and Sea War. Its lightning is also used directly, but the text shows that it cannot absorb or redirect every kind of hostile power. (Chapters 770, 1212, 1242, 1348, and 1405)

• Form Displacement Transposition swaps Meng Hao's location with a selected target. (Chapters 753 and 774–779)
• It can release lightning and concentrate lightning flame. (Chapters 753 and 1242)
• Its massive outer form can crush targets, while its ancient materials are exceptionally durable. (Chapters 753–754)
• Its powers have categorical limits; Meng Hao cannot use it to transfer an unrelated curse. (Chapter 770)
