Good Luck Charm

The Good Luck Charm is a cracked ancient jade charm from Patriarch Reliance's treasury. Though initially unresponsive, it proves to be a powerful emergency teleportation treasure that Meng Hao repeatedly treats as an escape route.

History

Taken beneath the Spirit Stones

Meng Hao inadvertently draws the charm into the Bag of the Cosmos while removing Patriarch Reliance's mountain of Spirit Stones. Patriarch Reliance immediately identifies and protests the loss of his good luck charm. Meng Hao's first attempts to activate the cracked jade produce no response. (Chapters 85, 89, and 96–97)

Teleportation revealed

After establishing a Perfect Foundation, Meng Hao discovers that the charm contains teleportation power. He verifies that it remains operational before entering danger and relies on its ability to escape sealed or remote spaces, including the Black Sieve Sect's Blessed Land. (Chapters 138, 144, 146–148, and 160–164)

A limited safeguard

The charm continues to serve as Meng Hao's emergency exit across later dangers. Its cracked condition and the way it is activated by pressing down on it mark it as a limited, consumable safeguard rather than an unrestricted travel device. The corpus does not show a final activation that exhausts it. (Chapters 302, 314, 374–375, and 645–646)

Abilities and properties

• It performs long-range emergency teleportation, including escape from restrictive spaces. (Chapters 138, 146, and 148)
• Meng Hao can probe the charm with spiritual sense to confirm whether its teleportation remains available. (Chapters 144 and 146)
• The jade is heavily cracked and treated as a limited-use resource. (Chapters 89 and 138)
