Bag of the Cosmos

The Bag of the Cosmos is an unusually capacious spatial treasure said to be able to hold mountains and rivers. After Meng Hao wins it from Eccentric Song's treasure mountain, it becomes his principal secure store for valuables during his early travels.

History

Eccentric Song's treasure mountain

Eccentric Song places the bag at the summit of his treasure mountain and publicly declares that anyone capable of reaching it may take it. Meng Hao succeeds and leaves with the bag despite Eccentric Song's immediate regret. (Chapters 49 and 52)

Reliance Sect treasury

Meng Hao uses the bag's suction to empty Patriarch Reliance's hoard, drawing in the entire mountain of Spirit Stones and the treasures exposed beneath it. He later keeps other storage bags inside the Bag of the Cosmos, making it the protected center of his portable inventory. (Chapters 77 and 84–85)

Storage through the Western Desert

Because he keeps the bag inside his robe, it survives a windstorm that strips away his ordinary bags of holding. He continues to retrieve medicines, clothing, and weapons from it, and later uses it to gather bodies after battle. Its custody after the Western Desert period is not explicitly established. (Chapters 112, 114–118, and 552)

• Its internal capacity is described as sufficient to hold mountains and rivers. (Chapter 49)
• It can actively draw large quantities of matter into its storage space. (Chapters 84–85)
• It is distinct from an ordinary bag of holding and can contain multiple such bags. (Chapters 77 and 112)
