Biography

True Immortal soul and Blood Demon war

Sword Paragon appears through sword aura during the struggle over the True Immortal soul. He later leads the Solitary Sword Sect into the alliance against the Blood Demon Sect, fighting Patriarch Blood Demon while lending the sect’s bamboo legacy sword to the attack on Meng Hao. He expects the sword’s accumulated worship and his cultivation authority to make its obedience absolute. (Chapters 732–736 and 738–743)

Meng Hao reveals that the bamboo sword was originally his Wooden Time Sword. The awakened Time power responds to him instead of the sect, and Sword Paragon burns longevity trying to reclaim it. Losing both the weapon and control of the battle turns his institutional confidence into panic: the treasure on which his sect’s Sword Dao prestige rests now strengthens the enemy. (Chapters 740–745)

Flight, puppet possession, and death

Sword Paragon flees the Time assault by throwing allied cultivators behind him as disposable obstacles. He uses a black horn to release centipedes and other defenses, but Time withers his body until only the Nascent Divinity escapes. He enters and drives a false Immortal puppet, trading his lost flesh for Immortal-level force and pushing back Meng Hao’s second true self. (Chapters 746–747)

When Patriarch Blood Demon reveals his true Demon body, the puppet and its occupant are frozen. Blood Demon considers remaking Sword Paragon as a Dharma Protector, but Meng Hao insists that this enemy must die. Blood Demon crushes the puppet’s controlling Nascent Divinity and obliterates it. The Blood Clone Dharma Protectors created in the same scene are the Golden Frost and Third Li Clan patriarchs, not Sword Paragon. (Chapter 748)

Appearance and personality

Sword Paragon is a black-robed old man whose gaze resembles a sword and whose arrival splits the air with sword aura. He is proud, authoritative, and intensely possessive of the Solitary Sword legacy. Once that legitimacy is overturned, he becomes ruthless enough to sacrifice his own allies as shields. His refusal to accept the sword’s original bond with Meng Hao accelerates both his defeat and his sect’s collapse.

Abilities and cultivation

Peak Dao Seeking cultivation

At peak Dao Seeking, Sword Paragon can fight a manifestation of Patriarch Blood Demon, shatter surrounding air through pressure, and control a major sect battlefield. Burning longevity temporarily drives more power into his attacks, but cannot overcome the bamboo sword’s Time erosion. The expenditure leaves fewer reserves for escape and contributes to the loss of his fleshly body. (Chapters 732–736 and 738–747)

Sword Dao and the bamboo legacy sword

His Sword Dao is channeled through the Solitary Sword Sect’s worshiped bamboo sword, which emits tremendous pressure and can lend its power to allied attacks. What he does not know is that it began as Meng Hao’s Wooden Time Sword. Once its buried Time power awakens, the sword chooses its original master, ignores Sword Paragon’s commands, and turns tens of thousands of years of withering force against him. His authority is therefore custodial and accumulated, not true ownership. (Chapters 740–746)

Longevity burning and sacrificial retreat

Sword Paragon can burn his own longevity to magnify peak Dao Seeking power and attempts to use this to force the sword back. During flight he seizes allied cultivators and throws them into the Time field, using their bodies and magical items to consume fractions of the advancing power. The method buys moments but permanently kills the shields and does not stop the sword. (Chapters 743–746)

Black horn and centipedes

He produces a black horn, feeds it blood, and shatters it to release two centipedes as an emergency defense. The treasure is consumable and appears only during his retreat; it delays but does not reverse the Time pursuit. (Chapter 746)

Nascent Divinity puppet control

After losing his body, Sword Paragon inserts his Nascent Divinity into a false Immortal puppet. Immortal qi from the puppet bends natural law and supplies power beyond his ruined physical state, allowing him to pressure Meng Hao’s second true self. The arrangement has a fatal single point of failure: Blood Demon can crush the Nascent Divinity through the immobilized puppet, ending control and life together. (Chapters 747–748)
