Saint Flying Immortal

Saint Flying Immortal is the male Spirit Severing leader who mobilizes the Flying Immortal Sect to hunt Meng Hao in the Milky Way Sea.

Biography

The Wang Patriarch's commission

The Tenth Wang Clan Patriarch offers an undisclosed but compelling reward for Meng Hao's capture. Saint Flying Immortal accepts and mobilizes tens of thousands of sect members, distributing Meng Hao's portrait and sending the sect's great ships through the dangerous Stormwind Divide. The scale of that movement shows both his authority and his willingness to spend institutional resources for the promised return. (Chapters 670–671)

The Flying Immortal force crosses into the Inner Sea and joins the converging pursuit. Saint Flying Immortal remains at its head as the hunters narrow the distance, relying on Spirit Severing power and the coalition's numerical advantage. (Chapters 674 and 676–677)

Death in the Inner Sea

Alongside the Sea Divinity, the Saint confronts Meng Hao directly. His voice churns the sea, and he sends a brilliant sword of light across the battlefield. Meng Hao's Area magic slows and traps the pursuers, preventing the Saint from rescuing his ally before the Sea Divinity is killed. (Chapter 678)

Recognizing that the same fate is imminent, Saint Flying Immortal burns life force and longevity, spits blood, and forces a burst of speed sufficient to break free temporarily. The sacrifice buys distance, not safety. Meng Hao's war chariot catches him; the sword light shatters, his body explodes, and his exposed Nascent Divinity is sealed inside a Time Sword formation and destroyed. (Chapter 679)

Appearance and personality

He appears as a middle-aged man and carries the public composure of a sect Saint. His decisions are forceful and institutional: he commits the whole sect to the chase and personally leads it. In the final battle he is capable of fear and rapid reassessment, sacrificing longevity as soon as he sees the Sea Divinity die.

Abilities and cultivation

Spirit Severing cultivation

As a Spirit Severing expert, his spoken shout can agitate the sea and exert battlefield pressure at range. He can project sword light powerful enough to serve as his main offensive and defensive technique. Meng Hao's stronger attacks nevertheless shatter it.

Longevity-burning escape

By burning life force and longevity and expelling blood, he can temporarily force his cultivation and speed past normal limits. The technique has a permanent bodily cost and functions as an escape measure, not regeneration; it does not repair injuries or protect his Nascent Divinity once caught.

Nascent Divinity and its limit

Destruction of his body does not immediately end him because his Nascent Divinity can emerge. Meng Hao's Time Sword formation seals the surrounding time and space long enough to prevent flight, then annihilates that remaining spiritual body.

Relationships

  • Tenth Wang Clan Patriarch: Patron whose promised reward initiates the sect-wide pursuit.
  • Sea Divinity: Coalition ally whose death reveals the danger and triggers the Saint's retreat.
  • Meng Hao: Quarry who turns the pursuit back upon its commanders.

Items

The sect is said to possess a legacy treasure, but the supplied scenes do not clearly show Saint Flying Immortal using or personally owning it. No item is therefore assigned to him.
