Lord Cang
Lord Cang is the former Lord of the Sixth Mountain and Sea who surrenders to the 33 Heavens for the promise of greater cultivation.
Biography
Loss of office and betrayal
The First Heaven's descent strips Lord Cang of his Mountain Lord status and access to Mountain-and-Sea power. Rather than defend the Realm without that privilege, he capitulates. His new allies promise that traitors who earn merit may break through, making personal advancement the explicit motive for his betrayal. (Chapter 1313)
He and an Outsider Dao Sovereign clone trap Lord Wu, a former friend who destroyed his own crown rather than submit. Black fire refines Lord Wu inside a shield toward a “Mountain and Sea pill.” Cang intends to consume it, reclaim regional authority, and help kill the other Mountain Lords. He bows to the Outsider's instructions even while Lord Wu condemns him. (Chapters 1332–1333)
Reckoning in the Sixth Mountain
Meng Hao arrives before the refinement completes. Lord Cang joins the Outsider clone with all five Essences, the strongest being light, and uses two pearls and a blood mist of vengeful spirits. Meng Hao's Dao Sovereign body tears through the combined attack, destroys Cang's legs, shatters the pearls, and leaves only his fleeing head. (Chapter 1334)
After Meng Hao kills the Outsider clone, Cang realizes that the breakthrough he betrayed the Realm to obtain has appeared in the person opposing him. He closes his eyes without an answer when he asks whether the choice was worthwhile. Meng Hao crushes the remaining head, ending both his life and claim to the Sixth Mountain. (Chapter 1335)
Appearance and personality
Lord Cang is an old man. He is calculating, self-interested, and deferential to stronger Outsiders once his office is removed. His final bitterness shows self-awareness, but it arrives only after his promised reward becomes meaningless.
Abilities and cultivation
Five Essences
He can unleash five completed Essences together, with light identified as the strongest. Their combined pressure marks Dao Sovereign-class cultivation, although he is weaker than the accompanying Outsider and far below Meng Hao's new body.
Former Mountain Lord authority
His crown once connected him to the Sixth Mountain and Sea. The First Heaven can strip that office, proving it is positional rather than inseparable personal cultivation. His plan to consume Lord Wu relies on refining another crown-bearing Lord into a pill to restore access.
Blood mist and pearls
His blood can become a mist filled with attacking vengeful spirits. Two pearls serve as defensive or amplifying treasures during the joint attack, but Meng Hao's roar shatters them.
