Long Linzi
Long Linzi is the golden-armored Outsider Dao Sovereign who intervenes to preserve Sima Dao and later becomes the senior commander to surrender the remaining First Heaven forces.
Biography
Intervention for Lord White
Long Linzi first appears as the golden-armored sovereign supporting the 33 Heavens' threat against the Mountain and Sea Realm. His intervention helps delay the Realm's execution of exposed traitor Sima Dao, but Meng Hao kills Lord White despite the ultimatum. Long Linzi then fights during the First Heaven's descent. (Chapters 1313–1318)
Meng Hao and the awakened Eighth Mountain Lord defeat his position and seal him into the 33 Hells, temporarily removing a true Dao Sovereign from the battlefield rather than killing him outright. (Chapters 1319–1321)
Return with Mandilo's power
Long Linzi later returns after receiving power connected to Imperial Lord Mandilo, including sacrificial or statue-based reinforcement. The borrowed empowerment lets him continue resisting Mountain-and-Sea suppression and rejoin the collapsing invasion. It does not reverse the strategic loss of the First Heaven. (Chapters 1341–1344)
Allegiance under defeat
After the First Heaven is destroyed, Long Linzi becomes the strongest remaining Outsider in the Sixth and Seventh Mountains and fights Patriarch Reliance. When Meng Hao, Sea Dream, Kṣitigarbha, and the Paragon puppet make annihilation inevitable, he disperses his cultivation pressure, bows, and acknowledges allegiance. His surrender prompts the majority of surviving Outsiders to do the same; refusal means execution. (Chapters 1350–1351)
Appearance and personality
He is identified by golden armor and sovereign pressure. He is durable, disciplined, and loyal while victory remains plausible. His final surrender is bitter but strategically responsible for the lives of the remaining Outsiders.
Abilities and cultivation
Dao Sovereign cultivation
Long Linzi operates at a level capable of contesting Mountain Lords and surviving major battlefield reversals. His exact Essence set is not cleanly isolated from overlapping sovereign battles, so unsupported names are omitted.
Mandilo empowerment
Imperial Lord Mandilo can channel further power through prepared statues or sacrifice, raising Long Linzi's capacity after his release. Because the strength is bestowed, it depends on the superior's infrastructure rather than representing a permanent self-made breakthrough.
Suppression resistance and limits
He withstands hostile Realm pressure longer than ordinary Outsiders and can continue after imprisonment. Combined Paragon, Mountain Lord, and Realm forces still overwhelm him, leaving surrender or death as the final choices.
