The Hundred Treasures Pavilion Foundation Cultivator is an unnamed senior who authorizes Qiao Ling's discounted sale and silently sees through Meng Hao's ordinary iron spear.
Biography
Supervising the pavilion
The cultivator meditates beside the second-floor pill furnace when Meng Hao seeks a medicinal-pill record. Qiao Ling brings a cracked jade slip and requests permission to lower its price. He approves the sale for 170 Spirit Stones, showing that her customer service operates under his commercial authority rather than independently. (Chapters 53–54)
Recognizing the spear deception
He remains at his post while Violet Fate disciples pressure Meng Hao into selling the supposedly extraordinary iron spear. The senior recognizes that the weapon is ordinary but does not interrupt a transaction driven by the buyers' assumptions. When Wu Dingqiu's roar later announces discovery of the fraud, the man briefly opens his eyes with a mocking expression and returns to meditation. (Chapters 56–57)
Appearance and personality
He is a middle-aged man in a long black robe, seated cross-legged with a straight back beside an enormous furnace. Expressionless and reserved, he speaks only through the authority implied by Qiao Ling's request.
