Huang Daxian

Huang Daxian is the local cultivator whose cave Meng Hao occupies and who becomes one of the earliest practical organizers of the Church of the Golden Light.

Biography

A cave returned after two years

Huang Daxian comes back after a two-year absence intending to reclaim the cave he occupied at the sixth level of Qi Condensation. Finding Meng Hao inside terrifies him; the difference in power makes eviction impossible. Meng Hao instead gives him a valuable medicinal pill as “rent.” The unexpected fairness converts fear into enthusiastic loyalty. (Chapters 315–316)

Huang quickly adapts to Meng Hao's unusual companions, flattering the parrot and Meat Jelly while helping turn a loose crowd into an organized following. When hostile cultivators arrive, he guides them to the cave but then obeys Meng Hao's settlement and joins the search for Celestial soil. (Chapters 318–319)

Useful subordinate

Resources and guidance within the growing organization help Huang advance from the sixth to the ninth level of Qi Condensation. He assists at the medicinal cistern, coordinates followers, and gathers information rather than pretending to match Meng Hao's direct combat power. (Chapters 320–321)

His most important intelligence success is locating information about the Spirit Orchid Leaf. Meng Hao gives final instructions before moving on, while Huang remains part of the Church's local structure and later stands among its followers during the Dongluo confrontation. (Chapters 326 and 346)

Appearance and personality

The text does not give a stable detailed portrait. Huang is initially timid before superior force, then energetic, ingratiating, and genuinely useful. His flattery is survival-minded, but continued organizing shows that his loyalty becomes productive rather than purely performative.
