Han Danzi

Han Danzi is a Southern Domain rogue cultivator who manipulates the Demon Immortal Sect’s Fourth Plane in an attempt to release and merge with a Greater Demon ancestor.

Biography

False alliance

Han Danzi follows Meng Hao in the Fourth Plane and introduces himself with flattering references to Grandmaster Pill Cauldron. He proposes cooperation to retrieve the seven globes surrounding a Greater Demon, claiming that the two men can split the treasures. Meng Hao senses vile Demonic Qi beneath Han Danzi’s great-circle Nascent Soul cultivation and accepts while remaining wary. (Chapter 615)

Han Danzi knows a movement technique that creates a vortex beneath the mirror-like land, allowing apparent steps of hundreds of meters to cover hundreds of kilometers. He uses Meng Hao’s strength to reach the central seal, then recruits other South Heaven cultivators with a Dao oath that he wants only one fire globe. The oath is technically compatible with his real plan: the treasures are bait to make everyone open the seal. (Chapters 615–616)

Greater Demon inheritance

When the wooden swords and other treasures rise, Han Danzi drops back instead of competing. He spills blood into the mirror world and calls to his ancestor. Three black horns emerge from his head, Demonic Qi supersedes his cultivator aura, and power from a giant Greater Demon head begins fusing into him. He plans to assimilate the other cultivators into a personal Demon horde and make Meng Hao a Dharma Protector. (Chapters 616–617)

Meng Hao answers with the Eighth Demon Sealing Hex. It binds Han Danzi’s life, cultivation, and body while pushing the Greater Demon down, but the ancestor breaks the seal with a single ancient utterance. Han Danzi then tries to kill Meng Hao and turn his blood and soul into a Demon Sealing treasure. (Chapter 618)

Imprisonment in the mirror

Meng Hao produces the copper mirror, which resonates with and shrinks the entire mirror continent. Han Danzi cannot approach or escape the gravitational pull. He sinks into the surface beside the Greater Demon, first raging, then begging for help, and finally glaring as the land contracts. By Chapter 619 he is fully submerged and gone. The supplied text does not explicitly distinguish death from imprisonment, so his final status remains confinement within the absorbed mirror land. (Chapters 618–619)

Appearance and personality

Han Danzi first appears as an old rogue cultivator. When the inheritance activates, three black horns grow from his head and his appearance resembles the giant ancestor. He is patient, persuasive, and careful to word his oath without revealing his goal. His composure collapses only after the copper mirror makes every prepared method useless.

Abilities and cultivation

Great-circle Nascent Soul cultivation

His visible cultivation is at the great circle of the Nascent Soul stage, close to Spirit Severing. Demonic inheritance can increase his power beyond that ordinary presentation. Even so, Meng Hao identifies a distinction between genuine control of Demonic Qi and Han Danzi’s inherited or deceptive use of it.

Mirror-land movement art

Han Danzi creates a moving vortex in the mirror surface. Walking with it compresses distance so that several hundred apparent meters correspond to hundreds of kilometers. The technique is especially effective in the Fourth Plane and may depend on the mirror land’s structure; the text does not prove it works elsewhere.

Ancestral blood summoning

His bloodline can pull a Greater Demon Divine Clone through the mirror and fuse its power into him. The transformation grows horns, floods him with Demonic Qi, and supports a plan to assimilate living cultivators into a Demon horde. It is powerful but dependent on the ancestor and seal rather than being wholly self-generated.

Demonic assimilation

Han Danzi expects the released ancestor’s aura to transform trapped cultivators from humans into Demons bound to his horde. The process begins affecting those present, but evacuation and Meng Hao’s intervention prevent him from completing the army he describes.

Relationships

  • Meng Hao: Intended accomplice and subordinate who instead seals him and absorbs the mirror land.
  • Greater Demon ancestor: Divine Clone whose release and power form Han Danzi’s true objective.
  • South Heaven cultivators: Unknowing participants whom he intends to convert into a Demon horde.
  • True spirit Night: Vast being whose brain supports the Fourth Plane and whose awakening Han Danzi understands.

Items

  • Pendant: Gift offered to Meng Hao while Han Danzi maintains the false alliance.
  • The seven globes and wooden swords are bait within the sealed battlefield, not Han Danzi’s possessions.
