Frigid Snow Clan Second Elder is a conservative guardian of the Frigid Snow Clan’s dwindling resources. He publicly voids the agreement with Meng Hao after trusting Zhou Dekun’s apparent victory, then gives an equally public apology once Meng Hao’s alchemy proves indispensable.

Protecting the larvae

Second Elder is identified by gray hair and a moon-shaped mark on his forehead. With only two Frigid Snow Larvae approaching completion, he argues that giving one to an unknown outsider would be irresponsible. Zhou Dekun’s Southern Domain reputation offers a safer alternative, so Second Elder supports relying on him and accepts his claim that Meng Hao’s poison work is trickery. (Chapters 357–360)

He therefore announces before the gathered cultivators that the clan’s prior agreement with Meng Hao is invalid. The decision is not merely private skepticism; it places clan authority behind a false public judgment. The later alchemy duel proves that Meng Hao can produce Pill Tribulation and a Lightning Sea Pill while the elders cannot even fully evaluate what they witness. When Meng Hao tries to leave, Second Elder recognizes that his own words have endangered the city’s best ally. He bows, admits he was wrong, and proposes giving Meng Hao a larva in gratitude. Second Elder fights as one of the four Nascent Soul anchors of Holy Snow City. Each elder commands a battle sector against a force containing a matched Nascent Soul opponent. The Lightning Sea Pills magnified by the city’s snow formations tear through attackers below, while the elders maintain the aerial fight until the awakened Thorn Rampart disrupts both sides. Second Elder is a gray-haired old man with a glittering crescent or moon-shaped mark on his forehead. He is cautious with irreplaceable resources and too willing to defer to recognized authority. His error comes from conservative judgment, not secret hostility. Once the evidence reverses, he accepts public embarrassment and states his fault directly, showing a strong concern for institutional fairness as well as preservation.

Nascent Soul cultivation
