First Bloodline Patriarch

First Bloodline Patriarch is the red-haired Dao Realm leader of the Meng Clan's first bloodline. He is distinct from the white-haired Quasi-Dao boy whom Meng Hao kills in Chapter 1266.

Biography

Watching from the ancestral statue

The first patriarch is one of five awakened Dao Realm experts meditating in chambers within the Meng ancestral statue. He watches the eighth patriarch fail to suppress Meng Hao and recognizes that the restored tenth bloodline has brought home a power capable of changing the clan's balance. (Chapter 1262)

The first bloodline's white-haired Quasi-Dao cultivator later confronts Grandma Meng and is killed, but that man is not the patriarch profiled here. The actual patriarch remains inside the statue until the following confrontation, when he emerges as a red-haired old man whose hair burns continuously with Flame Essence. (Chapters 1266–1267)

The five-patriarch challenge

Calling the eighth and ninth patriarchs to join him, he argues that the clan will fall to a stranger if they do nothing. He leads the resulting five-on-one battle by forming a sea of flames into a giant hand. The attack can destroy a Quasi-Dao cultivator and shatter large asteroids, but Meng Hao deliberately answers with stronger Divine Flame. His fire breaks the patriarch's fire and leaves him wounded. Meng Hao halts the finishing manifestation before it consumes him, making the defeat unmistakable without turning it into an execution. (Chapter 1267)

The patriarch survives the remaining exchange and accepts the new balance after Meng Hao defeats all five. When Seventh Mountain forces invade, he fights beside the same clan patriarchs who had been factional rivals moments earlier. Internal authority remains important to him, but defense of the Meng Clan becomes the immediate priority. (Chapters 1268–1269 and 1275–1276)

Appearance and personality

He is an old man with long red hair that burns with the manifestation of his Essence. Proud and territorial, he frames Meng Hao as an outsider threatening clan control. He is nevertheless capable of redirecting his power toward foreign enemies after defeat.

Abilities and cultivation

Flame Essence

His completed Essence manifests as a sea of fire and an enormous grasping hand. The hand is strong enough to annihilate Quasi-Dao cultivators and crush massive asteroids, combining range, heat, and concentrated force. Its defeat by Meng Hao reflects a difference in Essence quality and power, not the absence of genuine Dao Realm mastery.

Dao Realm authority

As first-bloodline patriarch, he can call peer patriarchs into a collective response and mobilize his branch. That authority is political and organizational; it does not compel Old Eighth and Old Ninth without their own decision to emerge.

Limits and backlash

When a stronger flame destroys his Essence hand, the collision makes him cough blood and retreat. Meng Hao's control over the finishing flame is the only reason he survives, establishing that raw commitment cannot bridge the power gap.
