Fang Xi's Father

Fang Xi's Father is Fang Xi's father and Meng Hao's Nineteenth Uncle. He supports the direct-line heir and fights with the loyal clan members during the rebellion.

Biography

Meng Hao's return

Before Meng Hao returns, the Nineteenth Uncle sits by a lake drinking and blaming himself for failing the cousin who entrusted Hao'er to the clan. The unprecedented tolling of the Fang Dao Bell makes him suspect that Meng Hao has finally come home. He races to East Heaven Gate with Fang Xi and is overcome with relief when Meng Hao identifies his parents and displays a 30,000-meter Bloodline Gatebeam. He then introduces Meng Hao to the Grand Elder and the direct-line elders, helping the long-absent heir re-enter clan society. (Chapters 894–900)

When Fang Hong's group attacks Meng Hao, the Nineteenth Uncle arrives with direct-line reinforcements and places himself between his nephew and the hostile elders. He invokes Fang Xiufeng's trust and threatens to remove his entire family to Planet South Heaven rather than permit Meng Hao's murder. His protection is therefore both personal and political: he is willing to abandon the clan rather than let its internal rules become a cover for killing the heir. (Chapter 920)

Ancestral land and clan rebellion

When the Grand Elder offers Meng Hao access to the dangerous ancestral land, the Nineteenth Uncle recognizes the risk and urges him to wait until reaching the Immortal Realm. Meng Hao enters despite the warning. Later, as Fang Xiushan attacks him during the confrontation with Fang Wei, the Nineteenth Uncle teleports between them and fights Fang Xiushan directly. Once open rebellion consumes the clan, he abandons restraint and launches deadly attacks to hold the rebel elder back. He still tries to intercept the final group rushing Meng Hao in Chapter 999, but the surrounding combatants prevent him from reaching his nephew. (Chapters 944–999)

Appearance and personality

He is first shown as a glum, guilt-ridden drinker and an exasperated father who disciplines Fang Xi physically. Meng Hao's return replaces that despair with open joy. Fiercely loyal to the direct line, he voices danger plainly and repeatedly places himself between Meng Hao and stronger political factions.

Abilities and cultivation

Senior Fang cultivation

The Nineteenth Uncle can fly, teleport into an ongoing confrontation, and exchange sustained attacks with Fang Xiushan after the latter reveals an Ancient Realm cultivation base with two extinguished Soul Lamps. The corpus does not name the Nineteenth Uncle's own realm or a signature divine ability in these scenes, so his precise ceiling should not be inferred from his opponent's level.

Interception and protection

His combat role is defensive and positional. He arrives with more than a dozen direct-line supporters to halt an execution attempt, later materializes directly between Fang Xiushan and Meng Hao, and continues attacking once the clan rebellion begins. These interventions can delay a senior enemy and reorganize loyalists around Meng Hao, but they are not absolute barriers: multiple attackers and the wider battlefield prevent him from intercepting every threat in Chapter 999.

Clan authority

As an elder of the direct bloodline, he can introduce Meng Hao to senior relatives, rally allied cultivators, and threaten a politically meaningful family withdrawal. This authority depends on kinship and factional loyalty rather than a supernatural compulsion.
