Eighth Bloodline Patriarch is the unnamed Dao Realm leader of the Meng Clan's eighth bloodline and the first clan patriarch to attack Meng Hao openly.
Biography
Defense of factional authority
The patriarch meditates in the eighth chamber of the Meng ancestral statue until Meng Hao kills members of his bloodline. Feeling compelled to answer, he sends down Dao Realm pressure and a giant golden hand. Meng Hao breaks the attack with one step, injuring him and forcing him out of the statue. (Chapter 1262)
Humiliated and frightened, the patriarch activates the ancestral defensive formation. Its expanding shield is powerful enough that Meng Hao judges it a serious danger if more controllers join, so he withdraws with Meng Ru rather than spend strength breaking it. The outcome is mixed: the patriarch cannot defeat Meng Hao personally, but his access to clan infrastructure temporarily protects his district. (Chapter 1262)
Defeat and common defense
When the first-bloodline patriarch calls on “Old Eighth” and “Old Ninth,” he reluctantly joins a five-patriarch attack. His Wind Essence becomes a massive tornado backed by his full Dao Realm cultivation. Meng Hao tears through it with physical force, and the eighth patriarch recognizes the difference in power and concedes rather than force a fatal conclusion. (Chapters 1267–1269)
The clan's internal contest soon gives way to foreign invasion. The eighth patriarch fights with the other four Dao experts against attackers from the Seventh Mountain and Sea. His participation shows that surrender to Meng Hao does not mean abandonment of the Meng Clan; he redirects his surviving strength toward the common enemy. (Chapters 1275–1276)
Appearance and personality
He is an old man, but the text offers no more stable physical detail. He is factionally protective and initially aggressive, yet not suicidal: fear makes him seek the formation's protection, and he concedes once Meng Hao proves he can shatter the Wind Essence.
Abilities and cultivation
Wind Essence
His completed Essence is wind. By clapping his hands and pouring cultivation into it, he forms a gigantic tornado that sweeps across the starry sky. The technique combines environmental reach with Dao Realm force, but Meng Hao's superior fleshly body can penetrate and disperse it.
Golden hand
His first remote Dao attack descends as a golden ocean and enormous hand. It carries patriarchal pressure over the ancestral mansion but feeds backlash to the caster when Meng Hao destroys it.
Ancestral defensive formation
By striking his forehead, he can activate the Meng Clan's invisible shield. One controller already produces power that Meng Hao cannot ignore with fleshly strength alone; multiple patriarchs would make it more dangerous. This is office-based access to clan infrastructure, not solely his personal spell.
