Dongluo Ling

Dongluo Ling is a proud Dongluo Clan Chosen whose attempts to punish Meng Hao draw her into the conflict between the clan and the Golden Crow Divinity.

Biography

Scarlet Peacock confrontation

When the Scarlet Peacock is attacked, Dongluo Ling seals the city and arrives intending to cut the culprit apart. She assumes Meng Hao is responsible and launches an ambush under the protection of Core Formation guards. Meng Hao freezes and binds her with little effort, forcing her to recognize that her social status and escort do not make her his equal. (Chapters 327–328)

The parrot’s retaliation turns the incident into a broader humiliation for the Dongluo Clan. Although Dongluo Ling is furious, the clan chief understands the danger and prevents further provocation. When Dongluo Han proposes marriage as a way to settle matters, she rejects Meng Hao emphatically and leaves rather than accept a diplomatic role she does not want. (Chapters 329–330)

Captured delegation

Dongluo Ling later joins a coercive clan delegation sent against the Golden Crow Divinity. She enters with the confidence of a superior power, only to be trapped inside Meng Hao’s fog formation. Every attempted escape fails, and she is rendered unconscious with the rest of the delegation. The Time power within the formation withers her body; when last seen, she stares blankly at aged, wrinkled hands, physically marked by the cost of the clan’s pressure campaign. (Chapters 346–350)

Appearance and personality

Dongluo Ling is a beautiful young woman in an emerald-green robe, with delicate skin, and is counted among the Black Lands’ three great beauties. She is fierce, proud, and quick to threaten force. Her anger is genuine rather than carefully strategic, which makes her vulnerable to stronger opponents and contrasts with Dongluo Han’s diplomacy. The Time formation leaves her appearance withered and elderly when last shown.

Clan cultivation and city authority

Dongluo Ling can order Dongluo City sealed and moves with guards strong enough to support a clan Chosen. She attacks Meng Hao directly, but the source does not name her technique or exact cultivation level. Meng Hao’s restraint magic overwhelms her before she can demonstrate a sustained offense. Delegation standing

Her position lets her accompany senior clan representatives in negotiations backed by coercive force. This gives her authority and protection, not immunity: Meng Hao’s fog isolates the entire group, defeats every escape method, and subjects them to Time power. (Chapters 346–350)
