The Crow Scout Sky Priest is an elderly woman who helps direct the Crow Scout Tribe’s sacred rites and supports Meng Hao after recognizing the value of his Dragoneer abilities.

Biography

Ancestor Tree rite

The Sky Priest first appears beside the Earth Priest at the Crow Scout altar. After thousands of tribe members complete the prescribed chanting, she waves her arm and opens a rift in the altar. Green light and dense Demonic Qi rise from it, followed by the ancient Treant to which she and the Earth Priest bow. She is therefore not merely an observer: she performs the action that opens the ritual space and helps formally receive the Tribe’s sacred being. (Chapter 406)

Meng Hao’s branding produces effects beyond the leaders’ expectations. As his body takes on the appearance of a Treant, the Sky Priest pants in disbelief. She then joins the Greatfather, Earth Priest, and Grand Elder in hovering around him to guard the process from four directions. When the strange contest involving Meng Hao’s companions unfolds, her wry smiles and conflicted expressions show that she understands how absurd the explanations around her sound, even while maintaining ritual decorum. Ancestor Rite Competition

Before the five tribes enter the Holy Land, the Sky Priest stands with the Crow Scout leadership and bows to the vassals who will compete for the Tribe. She then witnesses Meng Hao’s astonishing Dragoneer display. When rival Dragoneers attack him after the contest, she rises with the Greatfather and Grand Elder to rescue him, only to be blocked by leaders from the other tribes. Her intervention is immediate and public, confirming that the Tribe’s support is no longer merely ceremonial. (Chapters 418–421)

After Meng Hao wins and the Holy Land is opened through the five tribes’ bloodline powers, the Sky Priest and Greatfather clasp hands and thank him. She then enters the golden light with the Crow Scout Tribe. Her last supplied-text scene places her alive and participating in the migration into the ancestral domain. (Chapter 422)

Appearance and personality

The Sky Priest is an old woman. She is solemn during rites, protective when Meng Hao is vulnerable, and capable of understated humor when the Earth Priest supplies implausibly noble explanations for chaotic events. Her reactions are measured rather than theatrical. Even when astonished by Meng Hao’s power, she turns that recognition into practical support and gratitude.

Abilities and cultivation

Priesthood and ritual authority

As Sky Priest, she shares senior religious authority over the Crow Scout Tribe. She can begin the altar rite, open its central rift, and participate in the formal bows that acknowledge the Treant and the Tribe’s vassals. These actions depend on office, inherited ritual knowledge, and coordination with the Earth Priest rather than on solitary combat.

Totemic cultivation and guarding

The Sky Priest can fly and remain cross-legged in midair while taking one of four guard positions around Meng Hao. The scene establishes controlled cultivation and a protective role during a vulnerable branding process. Later, she launches herself toward a multi-party Dragoneer attack, showing that her protective commitment extends beyond ritual supervision, although opposing tribal leaders prevent the rescue from reaching Meng Hao.

Bloodline opening of the Holy Land

She participates with the five tribes in using bloodline power and a special technique to open the Crow Divinity Holy Land fully. The feat is collective and should not be attributed to her alone, but her status places her among the officiating authorities who understand and carry out the ancestral procedure.
