Pandora's Box

Pandora's Box is a time capsule devised by Cheon Yo-hwa to carry inaccessible memories, love, despair, and hope toward a future capable of opening them safely.

History

A message for the successful future

Yo-hwa and her allies cannot leave ordinary records: a corrupted regressor or reincarnator could find and weaponize them. They therefore design the nightmare associated with 404 as a conditional vessel whose contents reach only a future that has satisfied the required relationships and choices. The box preserves experiences that regression, manipulation, and deliberate forgetting would otherwise make unavailable. (Chapters 465–473)

Opening impossible memories

The alliance opens the box and recovers memories from routes that cannot be treated as ordinary shared history. Oh Dok-seo, Dang Seo-rin, Noh Do-hwa, and the Undertaker confront the emotional consequences rather than using the contents as a simple tactical archive. Yo-hwa retains unusual authority over who can approach or manipulate the vessel. (Chapters 476–482)
