Jung So-hee

Jung So-hee is an early survivor-party member whose Tap Water ability supplies a small but vital daily reserve. She presents herself as self-effacing and generous while secretly intending to spread unhappiness toward Undertaker. Recreated tutorial and tournament scenarios later connect her to the Church of Unhappiness, showing that the quiet support Awakener's helpful surface and harmful ideology coexist rather than replacing one another. Biography

Water for the party, unhappiness for its leader

So-hee joins Undertaker's original party when basic survival resources are scarce. Her Tap Water ability produces roughly four liters each day, making her outward generosity immediately valuable to people trapped in the tutorial. The same account reveals a concealed purpose: beneath her self-effacing manner, she wants to spread misfortune or unhappiness to Undertaker. Her helpful behavior is therefore genuine in effect without being evidence of uncomplicated loyalty. (Chapters 24 and 275–276)

The revived early-party scenario brings that contradiction back into view, and So-hee later works cleanup for the Church of Unhappiness during the tournament. The affiliation supplies an ideological home for the harmful intent already present in the original party. It does not establish that Tap Water becomes stronger or that she gains a formal church rank; her role changes from hidden sympathizer to operational participant while the known ability remains the same. Appearance and personality

No distinctive physical feature is consistently emphasized. So-hee is recognizable through her self-effacing presentation, outward generosity, quiet manipulation, and commitment to an ideology of unhappiness. She can perform a useful support role without openly advertising hostility, which makes her more socially deceptive than physically imposing. Tap Water produces approximately four liters of water per day, a modest quantity that becomes important when ordinary supplies are unreliable. So-hee is also associated with a misfortune or unhappiness influence aimed at Undertaker, but its mechanics, range, and limits are not fully defined.
