Cheon-hwa

Cheon-hwa is the elder-twin figure linked to Cheon Yo-hwa, the Void, and a sealed repeating day. Although the two share an appearance and may represent divided counterparts, Cheon-hwa is not another name for Yo-hwa. She loses relational continuity under the Time Seal, then uses strategy, ritualized routines, and emotional tests to rebuild a bond with the sister who has remembered and searched for her. Biography

A sister inside the sealed day

Cheon-hwa encounters Undertaker and Yo-hwa as an amnesiac elder twin whose relationships repeatedly vanish under Time Seal. Her resemblance to Yo-hwa is exact enough to support the divided-twin hypothesis, yet her guarded humor, strategic manner, and separate responses establish an independent conversational identity. Rather than accepting kinship on appearance alone, she lets Yo-hwa present a challenge and tests whether affection can survive when ordinary memory cannot. (Chapters 394–396 and 403–404)

Cheon-hwa adapts by embedding recognition in routine and repeatedly refreshing the emotions attached to the sealed day. The method cannot remove the underlying instability, but it permits a genuine reunion. She later fights beside Yo-hwa and physically reconnects with her during the coalition raid, turning the relationship from a hypothesis preserved by others into direct shared action. Go Yuri's manipulation of the split remains part of why their identities cannot be reduced to a simple biological history. (Chapters 403–404, 434–435, and 474)

Appearance and personality

Cheon-hwa is visually identical to Cheon Yo-hwa and later appears with red eyes, a formal school uniform, and tied hair. Her resemblance is the central clue to their twin or divided-counterpart relationship, not proof that they are interchangeable. She is mischievous, theatrical, clever, emotionally guarded, and intensely attached to Yo-hwa once the bond is recognized. Even under forced forgetting, she looks for repeatable ways to preserve feeling. (Chapters 394–396 and 403–404)

Abilities and skills

Cheon-hwa is a skilled planner with rapid situational adaptation. Inside Time Seal, she exploits routines and emotional refreshes to carry meaning through a day that erases ordinary continuity. She is also associated with shadow and Void-derived identity and later participates directly in battle beside Yo-hwa, but the complete mechanics of that power are not defined.
