Cloud Flask

The Cloud Flask is a shape-changing vessel that creates cloud buildings and vehicles. Emir Bahadir gives it to Jason as the final reward for the Reaper trials, after which its steady advancement turns portable accommodation into dimensional infrastructure. (Chapters 187, 404, 568–570)

History

Emir presents the flask as a massive, exceptionally durable bottle matching the one that produces his cloud palace. Clive Standish draws the binding ritual, which consumes Jason’s mana and stamina; once bound, the flask becomes nearly weightless and answers only to him. Jason initially manifests an adaptive cloud house, then spends heavily on quintessence and other materials to unlock bronze-rank carriage-house forms. (Chapters 187, 197, 235)

The flask expands with Jason’s needs. A vortex accumulator lets it operate in Earth’s barren magic, while later configurations include a floating houseboat, balanced ritual facilities and underwater domes. The Soul-Imprinting Triune incorporates it into the Regalia of the Dark Hegemon at silver rank, shrinking the stored flask to a charm on Jason’s amulet chain. Builder authority later transforms it into an authority artefact connected to Jason’s spirit realm and permanent domains. (Chapters 279–280, 288, 327, 345, 404, 568–570)

Properties and use

The flask summons rank-dependent grand or adaptive structures, reshaping rooms and exterior forms to suit its setting. Anything left inside a manifested structure returns with it, but those contents are inaccessible while the construct is stored. Damage repairs itself by consuming stored magic, replenished with spirit coins, and major forms or rank advances require costly materials. Before gaining its vortex accumulator, the constructs cannot function in a zone with no ambient magic. (Chapters 197, 225, 235, 260, 279–280)

As part of the Regalia, the flask surrounds Jason with controllable mist that can form defensive constructs, although attacks at the item’s own rank are only minimally impeded. Its authority transformation adds dimensional and construction authority, strengthens physical and dimensional defence, and allows its functions to operate within Jason’s domains. It can also create a controlled gate into his spirit realm, making the flask both a refuge and a route whose safety depends on Jason’s command of that space. (Chapters 404, 568–570)
