Biography

Measuring Jason Asano

Soramir investigates Jason after the royal family entangles him in Zara's public marriage manoeuvre. Once Jason detects the deception, Soramir abandons the pretence, admits the family's discourtesy and explains the danger without demanding submission. His reading of Jason leads him to discourage exploitation and quietly support the later inter-world bridge, choosing long-term respect for a future power over short-term royal leverage. Magic and abilities

Soramir's diamond-rank aura, senses and movement let him arrive unnoticed and perceive spiritual forces hidden inside Jason. Even he treats aura reading as observation rather than mind reading and recognises ethical limits on probing a junior's soul. (Chapters 465, 468)
