Sigrid is the healer and eventual leader of Team Shining Scabbard, as well as Prince Valdis’s wife.

Biography

The judgment behind a flamboyant prince

Sigrid first appears quietly apologising for Valdis while also managing the team logistics and political judgment his enthusiasm ignores. In the Reaper trials she refuses blind execution, solves the hidden final test independently, and reaches the scythe chamber shortly after Jason. Her decisions show that keeping Valdis out of trouble is not passive caretaking; she is a capable adventurer whose restraint and reasoning balance his appetite for spectacle. Over the following decades, Sigrid reaches gold rank, becomes a famously capable leader and healer, and marries Valdis. She remains willing to correct him publicly while leading their team on its own reputation. In later investigations she joins other senior healers to examine magically altered bodies, applying the same measured competence to threats far beyond the iron-rank trials where the two teams met. Skills and abilities

Sigrid is a magical healer with quick movement, strong tactical awareness, and leadership skill. Protecting her is central to her team’s formation, but she is fast and perceptive enough to solve trials and reposition under pressure.
