Phoebe Geller is a distant cousin of Humphrey and a member of Rick Geller's team. Sent to Greenstone for the family's traditional training, she develops from an iron-rank observer of Jason's strange tactics into a veteran scout who helps reunite survivors in the soul-forge territories. Learning from difficult opponents

Phoebe initially struggles to understand how Jason continues training through repeated losses, but accurately explains the terrain and divided attention that let him defeat Rick. That observation becomes practical experience as her own team faces increasingly unconventional threats. During the underground disaster, she scouts from a larger survivor group, finds Rick and Hannah and helps restore the full team, turning the Geller habit of studying defeat into action that brings people home. Magic and abilities

Phoebe is an essence-user adventurer trained at the Geller estate and later serves as a scout. She can traverse unstable terrain by standing on wet mud as if it were solid, allowing controlled movement where Rick must force his way through. (Chapters 66, 797)
