Lucian Lamprey

Biography

Power without stewardship

Lucian turns the Fortress fighting pits into his real office, leaving Pochard to operate the institution whose title he enjoys but work he disdains. When Jason's unusual spirit coins and Sophie become politically valuable, he uses official power as personal leverage. That choice helps unite opposition around Jason and exposes how badly Greenstone's Magic Society has been captured by private appetite rather than public responsibility. (Chapters 42, 70, 213)

Magic and abilities

Lucian has a muscular silver-rank body and an aura strong enough to brush aside estate guards and suppress lower-ranked opponents. His greatest practical power is institutional: records, researchers and political access can be redirected toward private schemes. (Chapters 42, 70)
