Koya

Koya Tiwari is the youngest of the three Tiwari clan elders, brother of patriarch Denji and father of Itsuki. He supports the fulfilment of the clan’s ancient duty while pressing his family to adapt once that duty ends. (Chapters 371–384)

Biography

A father looking beyond the old clan

Koya accompanies Denji, Jason, Itsuki and Emi into the concealed shaft maintained by generations of Tiwari. When Jason’s intervention fulfils the founder’s arrangement, Koya responds to the resulting uncertainty with a concrete priority: keep the clan together while it chooses its own destiny. He also encourages Itsuki to broaden his horizons beyond a fractured institution. After the old leadership is exiled, Koya thanks Jason for bringing his son safely through the dangerous trial and admits relief that Itsuki will not follow Jason into the next crisis. His choices balance loyalty to his brothers with a father’s wish for a safer, wider future. (Chapters 371–374, 384)

Skills and relationships

Koya’s role is familial and political rather than combative. He reads the clan’s disunity more clearly than Itsuki, advocates consolidation and treats survival as more important than preserving the appearance of old certainty. (Chapters 374, 384)
