Denji

Denji Tiwari is the eldest of three brothers and patriarch of the Tiwari clan when Jason arrives to fulfil the clan founder’s ancient arrangement. He is responsible for guiding a divided family through the end of the purpose that justified its secrecy. (Chapters 370–374)

Biography

The end of the clan’s old purpose

Denji receives Jason with his brothers Souta and Koya, explains how the clan concealed the deep magical shaft and accompanies the group as Jason activates what waits below. Success creates a political crisis instead of a simple victory: much of the clan treated its inherited purpose as myth, and fulfilment leaves no agreed future. Denji openly admits that he does not know what course to chart, while Koya urges consolidation and a shared new destiny. The resulting fractures remove Denji from power and send his faction into exile, where Jason houses the displaced Tiwari community in Asano Village. (Chapters 370–374, 384)

Skills and relationships

Denji’s strengths are custodial knowledge, clan authority and commitment to a duty maintained across generations. The transition exposes his limit: preserving a fixed purpose does not automatically prepare a leader to invent the next one. (Chapters 371–374)
