Gabriel Remore is Rufus Remore's father, a gold-rank adventurer and master swordsman from the family behind the Remore Academy. Protective, irreverent and experienced, he supports Rufus's independence while never fully resisting the urge to monitor danger from afar. (Chapters 49, 594, 952)

Biography

Letting a son become an adventurer

Gabriel secretly requests updates after Rufus nearly dies, prompting an argument about whether concern has become surveillance. He refuses to tell Rufus to avoid Jason's trouble, reasoning that confronting danger is what training is for, and supports proposals that turn hard experience into better education. Years later father and son fight as equals, their shared sword tradition diverging into individual styles without severing the family craft behind them. (Chapters 49, 952)

Magic and abilities

Gabriel is a master swordsman who mixes strong direct attacks with fire afflictions. His strikes cripple silver-rank monsters, while flames persist even in water and finish wounded targets. Training under an exceptional sword master gives him technique equal to his gold-rank power. (Chapter 952)
