Biography

Refusing one dangerous job too many

Estella accepts Havi's commission to observe Jason, but the encounter reveals a target far beyond what she was told: Jason detects her and sends shadow bodies capable of nearly following her. She returns, demands triple payment and severs the relationship rather than let professional pride draw her back into escalating danger. Later she joins Belinda openly, turning skills once sold to dubious patrons toward a relationship and community she chooses herself. (Chapters 509, 897, 940)

Magic and abilities

Estella can retract her aura, cross sophisticated protections and evade Shade's tracking long enough to escape. She reads privacy barriers and hidden spaces with a professional infiltrator's judgement. Her best defence is still discretion; once she recognises that Jason's attention carries royal and cosmic consequences, she stays quiet rather than testing the limits of concealment. (Chapter 509)
