Elizabeth is an ancient gold-rank vampire queen and the foremost practitioner of a blood-magic tradition acquired from an early outworlder. She creates blood clones, parasites and blood oaks, then becomes a captive consultant when those systems escape her control. (Chapters 439, 970, 975)
Biography
From sovereign to captive expert
Elizabeth first cooperates with Jason only because stabilising the transformation zone serves vampire survival. Years later her blood research underpins a renewed war, but McKean subverts her control of Gerling and turns him into the coordinating intelligence for blood oaks. Captured and placed behind glass, Elizabeth bargains with the only asset she retains: knowledge. She chooses to help map the blood network, hoping useful contributions will persuade Jason not to destroy her. (Chapters 439, 970–975)
Magic and abilities
Elizabeth has gold-rank vampiric strength, blood magic and the ability to create or reconstitute blood-clone bodies. Her parasites can control or alter others, and her blood-oak work reshapes warfare across Europe. These creations are not perfectly controllable; stolen techniques and external modifications sever Gerling from her authority and turn her own system against her. (Chapters 970, 975)
