Digit

Digit is one of the dedicated hitters in Nigel Thornton’s Australian tactical section. He uses a conjured bow and high-impact special attacks while the team’s scouts and heavies create favourable firing conditions. (Chapters 297–299)

Biography

Tactical archer

Digit meets Jason during a Network incursion and quickly demonstrates the section’s combination of crude humour and disciplined role separation. In battle he works beside Cobbo and Nigel, sending conjured arrows into priority targets; during the vampire assault on headquarters, those arrows explode with fire and electricity as the section retreats from an endless ghoul force. Years later, he remains with the veteran team on a quiet UN observation assignment. When Orange questions the mission, Digit correctly infers that they are waiting for an event large enough to observe from a distance, maintaining focus even when commanders withhold the larger purpose. Digit’s conjured bow supports flashy elemental special attacks at range. He depends on the section’s combined-arms structure: scouts soften targets, heavies hold the line and hitters such as Digit deliver the concentrated damage. (Chapters 297–299, 391)
