Biography
Power used against the powerless
Cole inherits his father’s criminal organisation and tries to prove himself by claiming Sophie, whom the elder Silva had kept beyond his reach. Jason’s intervention and Sophie’s Adventure Society membership turn that desire into humiliation. Rather than accept the limit, Cole expands exploitative businesses, including crystal mist sales to the poor, and works with partners his father considered too dangerous, allowing Builder operations to embed throughout his organisation. (Chapters 50–51, 105–182, 205–207)
Cole hires Killian and other powerful criminals to abduct Jason, then watches the star-seed ritual meant to break his soul. When Jason survives, Killian betrays Cole, stabs and strangles him, and steals much of the organisation’s wealth. Jason finds Cole alive, collars him, and leaves him for arrest. Imprisonment throws the Silva organisation into a succession struggle, making Cole’s attempt to demonstrate absolute control the act that destroys it. (Chapters 205–214, 217)
Skills and abilities
Cole reaches bronze rank entirely through monster cores and has no meaningful combat training. He relies on money, guards, criminal infrastructure, and violence against people unable to resist. Rank gives him enough recovery to survive Killian’s attack, but it cannot substitute for skill or loyalty when his stronger accomplices turn on him. (Chapters 182, 205–214)
