Amos Pensinata

Amos Pensinata is a gold-rank adventurer whose old soul injuries let him weaponise aura in ways ordinary essence users cannot. He becomes a prospective mentor for Jason and later contributes large-scale water control to the soul-forge campaign. (Chapters 491, 606, 830)

Biography

Teaching through shared damage

Jason seeks Amos because both men survived severe soul damage and developed unusual aura techniques from it. Amos joins the later expedition despite the risks, placing specialised experience at the group's disposal rather than treating it as private advantage. When messengers bury the gold-rankers under bodies, he asks Jason and Nik for rain, then converts the supplied water into a many-tentacled sphere that tears open the formation and gives the trapped adventurers room to act. Magic and abilities

Amos can make direct soul attacks through aura and shape huge volumes of water into hovering masses and grasping tentacles. His water technique requires an adequate supply, so Jason and Nik must create concentrated rain before he can deploy it at scale. (Chapters 491, 830)
