Original Brandon's Affinity Notebook

The Original Brandon's Affinity Notebook is a concealed body of research left in the Locke childhood room by the consciousness that occupied Brandon's body before the protagonist.

History

Discovery in the Locke home

Brandon finds a notebook and related papers in the original Brandon's room, then hides them in System Inventory before Belle can inspect them. The writing discusses basic and special affinities—including Curse, Celestial, Quantum, Light, Holy, and Shadow—while a torn Time-affinity page and ritual traces deepen the uncertainty surrounding the earlier Brandon's plans. (Chapters 94–96)

Visions and later consultation

A thin diary or notebook helps trigger visions of apocalypse and pleas for help, but the corpus never proves whether that volume is identical to the affinity research or a second book. Brandon later consults the retained writings alongside Ciel's tome while questioning the origin and limits of Skill Weaver, so the custody is clear even though the notebook count is not.
