The Nexus Link Rings is paired rings that connect Brandon and Amelia for emergency movement and life-status awareness.
History
Training-camp link
The rings are introduced as Nexus Rings around the Aetherwild camp and allow Brandon and Amelia to reach one another during the greater-wyvern crisis. Their connection becomes both a practical rescue route and a private safeguard between partners whose assignments repeatedly separate them. (Chapters 305–317)
Failure and later recovery
Interference inside the tampered Dimensional Tower prevents the expected link rescue, proving that the rings are not absolute across sealed spaces. After Evelyn's death, Brandon again uses the connection to reach Amelia, restoring the artifact's rescue role once the isolating conditions no longer apply. (Chapters 360 and 385)
