The Evelyn's Sword is the unnamed blade Evelyn gives Brandon during Permafrost training and the weapon he later uses to end her Wraith conversion.

History

Mentorship and mercy death

Evelyn gives the sword to Brandon while teaching him to combine Permafrost with the economical movement of pseudo swordsmanship. When her hidden wound completes its Wraith conversion, Brandon's attempt to restore her lasts only long enough for a farewell. He then drives Evelyn's own blade through her core, making the training weapon the instrument of the mercy killing that defines his final campaign. (Chapters 377–383)
