Elemental Amulet

The Elemental Amulet is the developed form of the Sevenfold Resonance technology, designed to grant a weaker secondary elemental affinity to its user.

History

Sevenfold prototype and reconstruction

A Milis amulet auctioned through Twilight demonstrates the ability to grant one of seven basic affinities, with the displayed specimen providing ice control. Brandon and Ironaxe study and recreate the principle, later demonstrating related artifacts to Bellion and Jain. The recreated form is not identical in every physical detail, but it establishes the technology behind Brandon's later product. (Chapters 247–282)

Public unveiling

Locke Enterprise develops the work into the Elemental Amulet and presents it publicly as an artifact that grants a secondary affinity weaker than a mage's natural one. Britannia treats it as a strategic military and commercial asset, refuses export, and uses the unveiling to expand Brandon's institutional leverage. (Chapters 373–427)

Abilities and properties

• Can grant access to a basic elemental affinity, including fire, water, earth, wind, nature, lightning, or ice. (Chapters 247–249)
• The granted affinity is secondary and weaker than an innate specialization; production and export remain politically controlled. (Chapters 424 and 427)
