Greed
Greed is an archbishop represented by split clones whose direct role extends from Chapter 399 to Chapter 404.
Biography
Role in the story
Uses two clones to test Brandon's group, then seeks information from Lust to find elves and undo Crystallia's curse. Pride mocks his child body; each clone's defeat returns its magic to the main body. Alive in main body after both test clones return their magic (404). (Chapters 399–404)
Appearance and personality
Looks no older than ten, with unkempt hair; theatrically philosophical, smug and easily irritated by being treated as a child.
Magic and abilities
- Authority of Greed absorbs mana offered through attacks, reproduces the attack/weapon form, stops or reverses elements, and learns the user's technique (400-402). Amelia, Raven and Brandon can inexplicably cut through it (400, 404).
- Clone splitting divides power: two clones receive 25% each and the main body retains 50%; destroyed clones restore magic to him (403-404).
- Crystallia shattered his core, removed his original affinity and fixed him in a child body during the Great War (404).
