Androxus

Androxus is an ancient wyvern and Aurelia's father whose direct role extends from Chapter 337 to Chapter 413.

Biography

Role in the story

Protects Aurelia indirectly, obeys a soul contract preventing wyverns from discussing the war or harming elf blood, warns Brandon about returning elves, gives him Crystallia's Oracle, and later trains him physically/sword-to-sword. Alive; ends Brandon's winter-break training for undisclosed reasons (413). (Chapters 337–413)

Appearance and personality

Lilac hair, silver eyes and silvery scale-like armor in humanoid form; aloof, cryptic and overwhelmingly strong, yet protective of family.

Magic and abilities

• Wyvern physiology and force far beyond Brandon; frost fields only slow him briefly and Brandon cannot scratch him (339, 408).
• Recognizes Sovereign-like will and compares Brandon's power to the banished Wraith Vainglory (337, 407).
