Zoe

Zoe is a Zeus Clan student and leader of Team Tempest during the Academy mission contest. She begins as an overconfident challenger to Neo Hargraves, but her later appearances show a junior leader pressured and abused by stronger clan members after repeated mission failures. (Chapters 44–45 and 86–94)

Biography

Team Tempest's failed mission contest

Zoe claims she is stronger than Neo despite admitting that she cannot gauge him, then charges when his aura overwhelms her until Arthur interrupts. Later, Lucas questions why Team Tempest has already cleared its available C-rank missions, exposing the team's attempt to prove itself. The Kraken operation fails, Harrison assaults Zoe for the result, and Charlotte disqualifies both Zoe's and Lucas's teams for manipulating the contest. Lucas then orders Zoe's team to transfer its credits to cover his shortage. (Chapters 44–45 and 86–94)

Powers and limitations

Zoe can project or withstand enough aura to participate in Academy operations, but Neo's aura leaves her unable to breathe and Arthur blocks her charge. The chapters give no named Trait, affinity, spell, weapon, or individual feat from which a formal specialization can be established. Harrison, not Zoe, uses the condensed Lightning Aura that burns her neck. (Chapters 45 and 88)
