Vivi Hargraves

Vivi Hargraves is a child created from Leonora's lingering Intent through the Spell-born spell and the mysterious Flame observed by Nameless Death, Neo's then-current identity. Neo accepts responsibility for her, gives her his surname, raises her with Leonora, and becomes the “Papa” he repeatedly denies being. Reincarnation separates Vivi from that household, but the Hope he leaves within her makes the separation temporary. She later develops as a Martial Artist and reunites with both parents in the True Blessed Land and restored Cosmos. (Chapters 645–648, 791, 797, 804, and 826)

Biography

Spell-birth and the family Neo did not expect

Leonora casts Spell-born around a fragment of her Intent while Nameless Death observes the process. A white Flame nurtures the damaged Intent, reconstructing a new soul, Seed of Existence, and body that are distinct from Leonora rather than a clone of her. Neo originally treats the child as a technical discovery useful to his attempt to create a new race, yet he catches the newborn, promises to care for her, and decides to raise her personally rather than delegate the work to an intelligent summon. Leonora's attachment is immediate and equally difficult for her to admit. (Chapter 645)

Leonora calls the girl his daughter and asks him to name her. Neo protests the biological description but chooses “Vivi Hargraves,” explaining that she is tied to him and therefore his responsibility. The choice becomes a family reality. Vivi calls him Papa, treats Leonora as Mommy, and fills their isolated household with demands, training, and ordinary meals. Neo corrects her posture, creates Dark Tide Blade for her talents, and limits himself during sparring so she can learn. By twenty-two, she masters the full technique, while his refusal to let her win only strengthens her desire to prove she has grown. (Chapter 646)

Reincarnation and Hope across separation

The Voraka Site cannot become Vivi's permanent home. A coming battle makes it unsafe, while remaining inside would stunt her development. Because living souls cannot simply enter the Underworld, Neo and Leonora decide that she must reincarnate. Neither parent handles the choice easily: Leonora fears that her daughter will forget them, and Neo considers sealing his own memories to escape the pain after Vivi leaves but refuses to do so. Their secrecy protects her existence from enemies, yet it also means Vivi receives no proper explanation or goodbye. (Chapters 646–647)

Vivi awakens as an infant in a new family with her adult memories intact. The unfamiliar body, voices, and parents make the reincarnation feel like abandonment until she recognizes Neo's power within her. That inheritance manifests as Hope—a promise of eventual reunion—and calms her. Her new body's Realm-Divinity-class potential creates an independent future rather than merely restoring the rank she held before. Much later, an enemy tries to threaten Neo through Vivi in the Shattered Horizon, but Space Elementals uphold the Supreme of Space's promise to protect her and direct her toward the True Blessed Land. Martial life, reunion, and a protective daughter's schemes

In the True Blessed Land, Vivi becomes a Martial Artist associated with a Baize County sect that rivals Elizabeth's. She can conceal herself in a gap in space, understands the gulf between the Martial and Cultivator paths, and participates in planning against Apollyon and the Heavenly Sect. She also learns that both she and Elizabeth are Neo's Avatars. When Neo finally reaches Elizabeth's sect, Vivi tackles him into an embrace, deliberately calls attention to Leonora in front of Elizabeth, and then pulls him through the community where she has built a respected place. Her joy does not erase anger over being sent away without explanation. (Chapters 791, 797, 804, and 811)

Vivi distrusts Elizabeth's possessive Witch nature and plans to help Neo escape if the relationship becomes coercive. Her assumptions are sometimes comic and sometimes grounded in real danger: Elizabeth frightens her, but Vivi also notices restraint that does not match the behavior she expects. During the Apollyon crisis she and Elizabeth nevertheless appear together with swords at his neck, showing that rivalry does not prevent coordinated defense. In the restored Cosmos, Vivi reunites with Leonora, cries in her arms, and then scolds her for failing to come find her—the response of a daughter who preserves love and grievance at once. Appearance and personality

Vivi grows into a young woman with dark-blue hair and the energy Leonora rarely displays. Her early training clothes are often untidily tied, matching a childhood in which she bursts into Neo's meditation rooms and demands attention. Reincarnation gives her a new infant body with Realm-Divinity-class potential; later chapters identify her by continuity of soul and memory rather than describing every physical change. Her True Blessed Land presence includes spatial concealment and the sword she places against Apollyon, but no separately named weapon is assigned to her. (Chapters 646, 648, 797, and 826–827)

She is affectionate, energetic, competitive, and calculating when family is involved. Vivi trains hard enough to master the technique Neo designs for her, yet her sparring is as much a demand for recognition as a contest. She can weaponize apparent innocence against Neo and Elizabeth, plan around a stronger rival, and contribute calmly to war strategy. Beneath the schemes is a fear of being left again. Her harshest reactions—clinging to Neo, resisting Elizabeth, and scolding Leonora—grow from the same loyalty that lets Hope carry her through reincarnation. Powers and limitations

Spell-born existence and Avatar bond

Vivi begins as a new soul reconstructed from Leonora's damaged Intent rather than as Leonora's copy. The Flame involved rebuilds the components required for independent life, and Neo later recognizes Vivi as one of his Avatars. His Hope remains within her after reincarnation, providing support and a connection she can recognize across bodies. The narrative does not reduce her agency to either parent: she retains her own memories, affiliations, judgments, and relationships after the transfer. (Chapters 645, 648, 791, and 797)

Elements, Intent, and Dark Tide Blade

Vivi awakens Divine Energy at four, can perceive and control elementals by seven, and is still formally an Awakened Demigod during her training with Neo. She combines Water and Darkness in combat and can use Intent to some degree. Neo builds Dark Tide Blade around those aptitudes and teaches counters to Time users. Vivi masters the complete technique at twenty-two, but the story does not state that mastery itself advances her to a new Demigod rank. (Chapter 646)

Realm Divinity potential and Martial Arts

Vivi's reincarnated body is assessed at birth as having Realm-Divinity-class potential. In the True Blessed Land she becomes an established Martial Artist, understands the Third-Realm ceiling and the danger of Fourth-Step Cultivators, and is confident enough to confront major enemies. Potential and expertise are not the same as a stated formal realm: the novel never explicitly names Vivi as First-, Second-, or Third-Realm in the chapters that show her. Neo gives Vivi his surname, raises and trains her, and insists he is merely a guardian while consistently acting as her father. Vivi's protectiveness can become interference, but Neo recognizes that she has reason to be angry with him. (Chapters 645–648, 791, 797, and 804)

Leonora von Villiers

Vivi's soul grows from Leonora's lingering Intent but becomes independent through the Spell-born process. Leonora is her mother in lived relationship, not simply a magical source. She helps raise Vivi, agonizes over reincarnation, and later receives both an embrace and a scolding when they finally reunite in Neo's Cosmos. (Chapters 645–647 and 826)

Elizabeth

Elizabeth is another of Neo's Avatars, Vivi's sect host, and the partner Vivi fears will possessively isolate her father. Their rivalry produces deliberate provocation and genuine anxiety, but they exchange knowledge, share a household, and coordinate against Apollyon when danger reaches the sect gate. (Chapters 797, 804, 806, 811, and 826–827)

Vivi has no separately cataloged signature artifact. Dark Tide Blade is a technique rather than a physical sword, while Hope and her Avatar connection are parts of her existence rather than possessions.
