Velion
Velion is a silver Ancient Dragon and the de facto leader of the group assigned to seal the Heavenbreaker. His reach with Dragon Tongue and Space is formidable, but the novel never gives him a numbered personal Stage. (Chapters 741, 759–760, and 763)
Biography
The Heavenbreaker seal and repeated defeat
Velion joins Aerion and Kaelus at the sealed Site, questions whether every target warrants battle, and warns the others not to underestimate Zeus. After Aerion is killed, Velion remains with Kaelus to hold Neo's clone in a cube while a machine-god golem destroys the Site. His caution does not make him benevolent: he accepts the mission's destruction and later coordinates the specialized seal used against Thanatos and Neo's main body. (Chapters 741, 748, 751, and 759)
Velion's spatial technique, reinforced by other ancient dragons, captures both the clone and true body and stores them in his spatial pocket. Months later the Heavenbreaker moves despite the promised eternal seal. Velion and Kaelus erect an independent space, but Neo answers their Dragon Tongue with copied Black Suns, repeatedly destroys them, reverses the deaths, and begins again. Both dragons vanish, and the Alliance can only report their disappearance. (Chapters 759–767)
Appearance and personality
Velion is a comparatively small silver dragon whose pressure bends Space. Usually calm, curious, and easily bored, he is more cautious than Kaelus and quietly affectionate toward younger siblings. That composure turns to fear once Neo's reversals transform a battle into repeated execution. (Chapters 748, 759, and 762–764)
Powers and limitations
Velion specializes in Space, long-prepared sealing, spatial pockets, independent spaces, and high-mastery Dragon Tongue. His words can affect even low Stage-7 Supremes, but that statement describes technique reach rather than his own rank. Neo's Formless Infinity and repeated time reversal ultimately bypass both the seal and the value of reincarnation. (Chapters 759 and 762–764)
Relationships
Kaelus is Velion's closest partner and volatile counterpart. Velion acts as elder to Kram and the other dragons, while “I” is the authority whose promise supports the seal until its failure makes both Velion and Kaelus suspect betrayal. (Chapters 759–763)
