Signora Everly is the seventeenth-ranked disciple of Nicolas. Her ordinal marks her place among his disciples, not her Awakener rank. She first approaches Neo Hargraves on Senate business, then becomes the public face and field commander of the evacuation triggered by the Crack in the sky. (Chapters 196 and 333–335)

Biography

Senate envoy and Crack evacuation

Signora escorts Elijah to Neo and apologetically explains the Senate's attempt to make him consider marriage prospects for the greater good. Much later, she reassures a live audience while coordinating the evacuation of half a country. Once her team concludes that the Crack will admit a Wandering God, she ends public recording and continues the emergency operation. Neo and Jack emerge without triggering her senses and frighten her, but she answers that fear with defiance and invokes her place among Nicolas's disciples before the encounter moves on. Powers and limitations

Signora commands a large response team, understands Crack and Window classifications, and possesses senses capable of monitoring an expected emergence, though Neo and Jack bypass them completely.
