Nyxtharion #28

Nyxtharion #28 is a numbered bodily piece of Elder Dragon Nyxtharion the Evernight. Revived by Nyxtharion #1, it participates in the shared “Great I” hivemind while retaining distinct speech and actions. Its vote, Space Lock, and teaching therefore belong to #28 rather than automatically to every Nyxtharion body. (Chapters 489–493 and 500)

Biography

The Zone 2 test and True Void lessons

Nyxtharion #28 supports the plan to test Neo Hargraves by reviving the Zone 2 Protector and confirms that the collective will help if Neo takes its power without losing himself. It combines Space Lock with #69 during the fight, warns when Neo's madness becomes dangerous, and offers to teach after he stabilizes. In the training cavern it explains the 108 energy types, the distinction between Elemental and Void Gods, and the inheritance that produces Demigods. It is later among the hostile pieces eliminated or subdued after #1's death. (Chapters 489–493 and 522)

Powers and limitations

#28 uses Space Lock, contributes to collective necromancy and madness absorption, communicates through the hivemind, and possesses detailed knowledge of True Void and divine inheritance. Like the other revived pieces, its existence depends on #1. The collective can ease Neo's madness only at severe cost and cannot safely repeat the act indefinitely. (Chapters 490–491 and 500)
