Ruin Calling

Ruin Calling is a wing artifact crafted and worn by Yu IlHan. Initially a bladed flight apparatus, it becomes a vessel for Eternal Flame and is later incorporated into Yu IlHan’s armor and higher-existence body.

History

Wings modeled on a demon beast

Yu IlHan creates Ruin Calling from a powerful demon beast whose speed and strength impressed him. The finished Epic-ranked artifact has an attack value of 7,300 and enhances Leap by thirty percent. Its acceleration option can raise his speed to more than three times its ordinary level. The metallic, blade-like feathers also let the wings function as weapons rather than merely as a means of flight. (Chapters 140–141)

A vessel for flame and momentum

The artifact’s alpha option allows it to absorb and emit fire freely. Eternal Flame enters Ruin Calling, strengthening its flame functions and accompanying Yu IlHan through combat and crafting. He learns to project shockwaves in chosen directions, accelerate like a comet, and combine the wings with Leap until his travel speed can rival higher existences. In one world, that pairing clears a vast magic formation in twenty-five minutes—about 180 times faster than the expected pace. (Chapters 146–147, 166, 174, 184, and 187)

Integration and draconic evolution

When Eternal Flame moves into Infernal Dragon Body, Ruin Calling is integrated into Yu IlHan’s armor instead of being discarded. He can summon the wings immediately, while the combined equipment reinforces his fire and close-combat performance. After he becomes a higher existence, they transform into flaming red, bat-like dragon wings with at least twice their earlier performance. They remain nested within his evolved body even when an additional metallic pair of wings manifests later. (Chapters 208, 305, and 327)

Abilities and properties

  • Increases Leap’s effectiveness by thirty percent and can more than triple ordinary movement speed. (Chapters 140 and 187)
  • Uses its blade-like feathers for direct attacks and for controlling the air around Yu IlHan. (Chapters 141 and 166)
  • Absorbs, stores, and emits flame through its alpha option. (Chapters 146–147)
