Infernal Dragon Body
History
A perfect close-fitting armor
Yu IlHan completed the Infernal Dragon Body as a close-fitting suit that covered him above the skin. He forged it from an alloy of exceptional metals gathered across multiple worlds, producing an artifact whose structure he considered essentially perfect from the moment of creation. The armor also housed the Eternal Flame, making it both protection and the living fire’s portable home. (Chapters 207, 219)
The center of a growing equipment set
The armor converted part of its defensive capability into attack power when Yu IlHan wielded a weapon. It proved strong enough to ignore weakened mana bullets from a higher existence, even before the planned equipment set was complete. Yu IlHan later added gauntlets made from Chaos Will and designed further pieces around the Infernal Dragon Body. It could store equipped armor parts within itself, share their abilities, and act as a central control system that kept the expanded set’s mana from running wild. (Chapters 224, 229, 234)
Material for creation
When Yu IlHan prepared to forge armor suitable for becoming a higher existence, he deliberately dismantled the Infernal Dragon Body rather than preserving it unchanged. He divided its functions between two new creations. One half became the cast and fire-bearing material for a red inner armor made with Kelatuke’s bones and the Heart of Fire; its fire powers were transferred without loss as the Eternal Flame moved into the new armor. The other half became an armory-like core for the outer armor, absorbing the Eight-Tailed Dragon Spear and other dragon treasures. (Chapters 278–280)
Abilities and properties
- Exceptional defense: Its high-grade alloy withstands attacks that would penetrate ordinary armor.
- Offensive conversion: While equipped, twenty percent of its defense is added to the attack power of Yu IlHan’s weapon.
- Modular storage: Additional armor pieces can be stored as parts of the suit and share their effects.
- Mana control: It coordinates attached equipment and prevents the combined system’s mana from becoming unstable.
- Fire affinity: It carries the Eternal Flame and retains powerful fire properties suitable for later fusion.
