Deathgod’s Trajectory
History
An epic bow from dragon materials
Yu IlHan forged Deathgod’s Trajectory from Karrows’s lightweight black scales, a Giant’s Rubber Band made from the dragon’s tendons, and a fourth-class magic stone. When mana crafting completed, black light enveloped the bow, its materials, and the workshop. The result was an Epic-ranked artifact, exceptional even among Yu IlHan’s creations at the time. It required a third-class archer main class and at least 250 strength and agility, restrictions that kept it unused in his inventory while he searched for a suitable wielder. (Chapters 107–108)
Paté takes the bow
Paté, an elven archer serving Yu IlHan, narrowly met the weapon’s requirements through his strength-and-agility-focused development. Yu IlHan handed the artifact to him, making Paté its operational owner and placing an early masterpiece in the hands of the subordinate best able to develop its records. (Chapter 143)
Death creates a new ally
The bow possessed an unusually powerful option: a target killed by one of its arrows could revive as undead. During the war among higher-existence factions on Dareu, Paté killed a higher existence without deliberately planning around this ability. Deathgod’s Trajectory nevertheless activated and raised the victim into the allied camp, demonstrating that its necromancy applied even beyond mortal targets. The accomplishment drew the attention of the god of curses and caused the artifact to evolve from Epic to Chaos rank through the records accumulated by its user. It retained the possibility of another evolution if Paté received that god’s blessing. (Chapter 240)
